Arefeh in Gdansk, Poland

February 6, 2019No CommentsMahdi

I have spent 7 weeks in Poland. It was a unique experience for me. Poland is full of museums and picturesque sights. I was staying in Gdańsk, a beautiful city with nearly 500 thousand inhabitants. After visiting two museums in Gdańsk, I realized a lot about World War II and Polish history. In addition to Gdańsk, I have also visited Sopot, Torun, Malbork and Warsaw, and I should say that I love Gdansk best.

Arefeh Lotfi was an Iranian trainee in Gdansk,Poland in summer 2018

During this time, I made a lot of new friends from different countries and got familiar with their customs and attitudes. Unlike most of my friends in Gdańsk who were working in companies, I was working at a university. I was working on transportation safety in “European Union Transport Safety Culture” project at the Gdansk University of Technology. I was conducting research in a laboratory related to my field and got good results. The satisfactory results of my work along with the good friends I had during this period and seeing the beauty of Poland made this trip as one of the best experiences of my student life.
